Created in September 2014, after several high-level meetings in Libya, Morocco, Cote d'Ivoire, South Africa, Equatorial Guinea, Cameroon and Benin, the Pan-African Council of Traditional and Customary Authorities (CPATC / PACTNA) was recognized by the Government of the Republic of Benin, as the headquarters country, in 2016 under No. 210 / MISP / DC / SGM / DAIC / SC / SA. The official statement of the Organization was published on page 264 of the Official Journal of 15 February 2017.
